Using dark mode

How to switch Scoutworks to a darker look that's easier on the eyes, and how your choice follows you across your devices.

Planning meetings or checking the accounts late in the evening? A bright white screen can be hard on tired eyes. Dark mode gives Scoutworks a calmer, darker look — and once you pick it, Scoutworks remembers your choice everywhere you sign in.

Turning it on

Look for the Sun / Moon button in the top bar, just to the left of the notification bell. Tap it to switch between light and dark — the whole app changes straight away.

On a phone, the same button sits in the header at the top of the screen, next to the search icon and the bell.

Your choice follows you

When you choose light or dark, Scoutworks saves it to your account — not just to the device you happen to be on. So if you switch to dark on your laptop at home, you'll get dark on your phone in the hall too, the next time you sign in.

Your choice is also remembered when you reload or come back later, with no flash of the wrong colours while the page loads.
