Event not visible to parents
If parents cannot see an event:
- Check the event status: Events start in Draft and are only visible to leaders. Open the Event Actions dropdown and click Publish to make the event visible to parents.
- Check section assignment: Events are filtered by section. Make sure the event includes the correct sections.
Members missing from an event
If expected members are not showing in the event's attendance or RSVP list:
- Check section assignment: The event only shows members from the sections assigned to it. Verify the event includes the right sections.
- Check filters: If filters are applied on the attendance view, they may be hiding some members.
RSVP deadline passed
If parents are reporting they cannot RSVP:
- The RSVP Deadline may have passed. Edit the event and extend the deadline.
- Check that Require RSVP is toggled on for the event.
Parents not receiving event notifications
If parents are not getting notifications about events:
- Check parent accounts: Verify the parent has been invited, has created their account, and is linked to their child.
- Check event publication: Draft events do not trigger notifications. Only published events notify parents.
- Ask parents to check spam: Notification emails can occasionally end up in spam/junk folders.
Offline attendance not syncing
If attendance taken offline is not appearing:
- Check the device's internet connection. The Offline Attendance Register syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.
- Try manually refreshing the page once you are back online.
