When you need to ring a fellow leader before a meeting starts, or check an adult's emergency contact halfway through a residential — the days of digging through a downloaded activity report PDF are over. Scoutworks now has a dedicated Team page in the sidebar with a profile for every leader, admin and young leader, and a new Adults tab on every event for on-the-day access.
Where to find this
Click Team in the sidebar — it sits just below Members. The page is for leaders, admins and young leaders only; parents don't have access.
The Team page
The Team page lists everyone on your group's leadership team — section leaders, group admins, young leaders, and trustees. Each card shows their name, role, section, Scoutworks email, and how long they've been on the team.
Use the toolbar to narrow things down:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Search | Find a person by name or Scoutworks email |
| Section filter | Limit the list to leaders of a single section |
| Role filter | Filter to Group admins, Leaders, Young leaders, or trustees |
| Sort | Sort by Role · Section (default), Name, Section, or Active since |
| View toggle | Switch between Grid (cards) and Table (denser rows for desktop work) |
Tick the checkbox on multiple cards to message or export them in one go — the action bar appears at the bottom of the page.
Volunteer profiles
Click any name on the Team page — or any linked leader's name elsewhere in the app — to slide open a read-only profile panel from the right.
What's visible depends on your role:
| If you're a… | You'll see |
|---|---|
| Group admin or Leader | Name, role, section, Scoutworks email, personal email, and mobile number |
| Young leader | Name, role, section, and Scoutworks email |
Emergency and medical info on the day
Open any event and you'll see a new Adults tab next to the YP roster. It lists every adult attached to the event — the section's leaders, helpers, trustees on the trip — with an avatar and an RSVP pill so you know who's confirmed.
If you're the Leader in Charge of the event, tap any adult's card to expand it. The card opens to reveal:
- Emergency contact (name, relationship, phone)
- Medical conditions
- Allergies
- Dietary requirements
- Medication notes
This works on phones, tablets, and laptops — handy when you're standing in a field with one hand holding a clipboard.
What if I'm not the Leader in Charge?
Everyone with access to the event can see each adult's name, role, RSVP, and Scoutworks email — enough to find the right person at the event. But emergency and medical details are only available to the named Leader in Charge for that event. If you need someone else to have access, set them as the Leader in Charge in the event's Leaders tab.
