Young Leaders across your district

How a district team sees Young Leader award progress across its groups, finds the modules where the whole cohort is stuck, and compares groups.

You are planning the next district Young Leader training day. You want to know which modules most Young Leaders still need, and which groups have Young Leaders who have not started. The Young Leaders page shows how Young Leaders are progressing across your district, so you can plan training where it helps most.

Everyone on your district team can open this page: admins, volunteers and viewers.

Opening the page

Switch into your district and click Young Leaders in the sidebar.

The figures come from the groups that share them with you. They are counts only. The page never shows a Young Leader's name.

The four figures

Not startedYoung Leaders with no modules or missions signed off yet. A good place to start a conversation.

Award completeYoung Leaders who have signed off all 11 modules (A to K) and all 4 missions.

Where the cohort stalls

For each module (A to K) and each mission (1 to 4), a bar shows how many of your district's Young Leaders have it signed off. A short bar shows where Young Leaders across the district are getting stuck. That is a good topic for district training.

By group

By group sets your groups side by side: how many Young Leaders each one has, and how far they have got. Use it to see which groups might need help to get their Young Leaders started.

If the page is empty

  • "No Young Leaders yet" means no group that shares with you has Young Leaders linked in Scoutworks.
  • "Young Leader insights aren't available yet" means no group shares its figures with you yet, or no group has Young Leaders working towards the award.
