My Scouting is your own space in Scouting. It shows you your badges, the things you've done, and gives you a way to say what you'd like your section to do next. This guide is for you — a Scout or an Explorer — and it shows you how to sign in and what you'll find.
Signing in
A grown-up at home sets up your login for you and gives you two things:
- A username — this is your name for signing in.
- A password you'll remember.
Open the My Scouting sign-in page, type in your username and password, and you're in. There's nothing else to do — no email to check, no extra steps.
What you'll find
When you sign in, you land on your home page. From there you can explore three things.
My Badges
This is your badge wall. You can see the badges you've earned and the ones you're working towards. Tap a badge you're working on to see exactly what's left to do — each step you've finished is ticked off, so you always know how close you are.
My Journey
This is the story of your Scouting so far. You'll see how many weeks you've been coming along, the milestones you've reached, and the moments you've been recognised for. It's all about you — there are no scoreboards and nothing comparing you to anyone else. Just your own journey.
Have Your Say
Got an idea for what your section could do — a game, a trip, a theme night? Add it here. One of your leaders reads every idea first to make sure it's a good one, and then it's shared with the rest of your section so everyone can vote for the ones they like best.
You can vote for ideas too. When you suggest something, your name is kept private from the others — they just see the idea.
A safe space that's just yours
My Scouting only ever shows your Scouting — your badges, your journey, your section. You can't message other people through it, and no one can message you. If there's ever anything that needs a grown-up to sort out — like paying for a trip — that goes to whoever looks after you at home, not to you. That way you get to enjoy the fun parts, and the grown-ups handle the rest.
