What Scout Suite is
Scout Suite describes itself as “software for UK Scout Groups, Explorer Units, districts and counties”. It covers members, badges, programme, events, a family portal, payments, finance, Gift Aid, equipment, texts and group phone numbers.
It is run by Everycast Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, which also makes other products. Everycast Labs announced Scout Suite as live on 4 September 2026. Its founders say they are Scout leaders and trustees of their own group.
Choose Scout Suite if
- Price is the deciding factor: Scout Suite costs £60 a group a year.
- You want text messages, a group phone number or eSIMs for volunteers. Scoutworks does not send texts or provide phone numbers.
- You want a separate, signed data processing agreement for your trustee board.
Choose Scoutworks if
- You want a supplier with an independent security certificate and an entry on the ICO register.
- You want a sub-processor list that names every supplier in public, before you sign up.
- You want six months free to run a full term on real data before you pay.
- You want the trustee toolkit, district tools and hire portal in the same price.
